Majestic Nannies is an information page for parents in the Middle East. Hiring a childcare professional to look after your child is one of the most important decisions a Mother, Father or Guardian have to make. We have divided the childcare sectors as follows as a basic guideline for Parents. 

NANNIES
A nanny is employed by a family in either a live-in or live-out basis. The function of a nanny is to essentially be responsible for all care of the children in the home in a largely unsupervised setting. Duties are typically focused on childcare and any household chores or tasks related to the children. A nanny may or may not have any formal training; however, many have significant actual experience and certificates in the childcare field. A nanny typically works full-time of at least 50 hours a week.

Salary range £250 - £ GBP pounds per week

MATERNITY NURSES
A Maternity Nurse is qualified or very experienced child carer.  Majority of our Maternity Nurses hold the Maternity Nurse Diploma and have additional qualifications.  We also have a few carefully chosen ladies who have years of practical experience and a selection of ex midwifes and paediatric nurses.
A Maternity Nurse is responsible for all day to day care of baby and post natal mother.  This includes advising you on bathing, feeding, routines etc. Your Maternity Nurse will also be responsible for the baby’s laundry and ensuring you eat well and are rested.
Salary range £500 - £1400 GBP per week
AU PAIRS
An au pair is a young person between 18 and 30 years who becomes a member
of your family. The ladies we provide are taking the opportunity to improve their language skills and get acquainted with a new culture. 

The au pair will take care of your children and help with light housework including vacuuming, dusting, preparing the table for meal times and emptying the dishwasher. They are not as experienced as a Nanny.

Salary range £100 - £200 GBP per week

GOVERNESS
A woman employed to educate and train the children of a private household.  Their duties are to supervise mealtimes, outings, to teach and implement manners and etiquette and liaise with the children’s schools.
Governesses can also assist with homework, entrance exams and often they can teach another language to the children.
We ensure that our Governesses either hold the QTS or PGCE or have excellent relevant experience.

Salary range £600 -£1200 GBP per week

FILIPINO NANNIES
Many choose this option in the Middle East. Prospective Nannies must have relevant childcare experience and qualification such as a nursing qualification, teacher or as a care giver. Most are mothers and have hands on experience. It is advisable to interview nannies face to face.

Salary range is 2000 -4000 UAE DH per month.

TUTORS
Tutors are available in your area for those that need extra help, also please discuss our excellent range of Governesses who can also fulfill this role.
Charge 100 -150 dhs per hour.
