| How do you find your nannies? |
Majestic Nannies spends a considerable amount of time and effort advertising in colleges, on the internet and in newspapers. A substantial number of nannies are brought to our attention by personal recommendation.

| How long does the process take? |
This varies for each individual family. Our agency will provide nanny
applications to a family once we receive their application form. It is then up to the families to expedite the process by letting us know which nannies they would be interested in contacting. We are available at all times during the recruitment process to advise and assist you in making the appropriate choice.

| How many names of nannies will you provide? |
The referrals are carefully matched before being sent to a family. A good percentage of our families will hire one of the first few referrals sent to them. We will, however, continue to send files until a suitable match is made.

| How many hours a week can I expect a nanny to work? |
Work hours are to average 8-12 hours per day for full-time with a minimum 1-day off per week.
Part-time hours are to average 5-25 hours per week.
Maternity hours are 12- 24hr a day.
Temporary hours will vary depending on your family's needs.

| What kinds of fees does the family incur? |
The registration fee is FREE when you send in an application form. A placement fee will be due once a nanny is hired. NOTE: If the placement fee is not paid within the given time (invoice date +7days) a registration fee will be charged plus the placement fee. | How much does a nanny cost? |
Nannies - Philippines are around 75 - 175 GBP per week.
Nannies - Europe, South Africa, Australia, America, Canada etc..
250 - 1200 GBP per week
Maternity Nurses - 400 - 1200 GBP per week
Part time/ Temp nannies - price available on request

| Are there any fees for the nanny? |
The services of 'Majestic Nannies' are free to all childcare providers.

| Do you provide post placement support? |
We will provide a list of nannies that have been placed in the area by our agency to the potential nanny. We will also provide a list of nanny support groups in the area. Quarterly newsletters are sent to the nannies with helpful, creative information such as craft ideas, educational material, recipes and valuable articles. Majestic Nannies is available for advice and assistance throughout the commitment period.

| Is there a contract between the nanny and the family? |
Once a job offer has been made, a contract will be supplied by Majestic Nannies for the family to fill out and the nanny to sign before the onset of employment.

| Do the families pay for transportation to the job? |
The family is responsible for the nanny's outward and return transportation costs for any interviews.

| Can I speak to a family that has a current nanny from your agency? |
References from families in your area are available upon request.

| Before a nanny is hired, can a family do reference checks on the nanny? |
| The family can contact any of the referees supplied by Majestic Nannies. |

| As Agencies who supply Nannies do not directly employ the Nanny we are not able to insist upon CRB checks, however at Majestic Nannies we encourage all potential applicants to have a CRB check however ultimately it is the Nannies choice and then subsequently the clients choice should they wish to employ a candidate who does not have his/her CRB. Those employing a nanny should be made aware that whilst it is preferable to engage those who have a recent CRB disclosure, the disclosure should not be relied upon as an indication or measure of a Nannies childcare capabilities or credibility as a care giver. It is strongly recommended that references checked by the Agency of a Nannies previous employers are also contacted by you the prospective Employer to provide greater peace of mind. |
